Marubeni Specialty Chemicals Inc. (MSCI), spun off from Marubeni America Corporation, was established as a separate entity in 1991. Headquarted in White Plains, NY we have branch offices in Tampa, FL, Silicon Valley, CA, and Detroit, MI.
MSCI conducts distribution, importing, and exporting operations. We are comprised of five sales divisions:
- Specialty Chemicals Division (MG)
- Advanced Materials Division (ME)
- Plastics Division (CE)
- Agro Division (AG) established in January 2010
- Tampa Division (TP) in Florida established in June 2009
MSCI's five sales divisions serve various constituencies, including the paper coating, paint, adhesive, packaging, automotive, electronics, food/nutra/pharma, agriculture, plastics, and plastic compounding industries.
MSCI is invested in, and seeks further opportunities that offer cutting-edge technologies. With well-staffed offices in the United States, MSCI constantly seeks out new manufacturers in emerging economies. Marubeni personally visits each prospective plant location, and initiates audits ensuring the products meet industry standards.
